Choosing the right color for your hair system is very important. With the right color, releasing your charm to gain confidence is quite easy. But no matter the length or style you choose, finding the right color wig is always the most challenging part of the wig buying process.

Here are some simple tips from the cosmetologists at Imwigs to help you find the perfect shade for you.

HOW TO FIND YOUR PERFECT MATCH

WAY1

Choose your biological hair color

Start by examining your natural root color. If you are losing hair, just trying to find a solution. Well, you just need to find a wig or hair piece that is the same color as your biological hair. This will be your foundation for finding extensions that blend seamlessly. Or,you also can choose a shade similar to your natural hair color( it’s best to adopt a new hair color that’s only either two shades lighter or two shades darker than your natural hair color.)There are safe ways to find a right wig or hairpieces.

WAY2

Try something new but perfect color

Of course, it is not easy to choose the right wig color among so many wig colors. If you want something different from your natural hair color, you need to choose a shade that complements your skin tone.

Examine the overall shade of your hair. Is it a uniform color, or does it feature multiple tones for added depth? This insight will assist you in selecting wigs that closely match your natural hue or allow you to introduce dimension with highlights and lowlights for a more dynamic look.

Skin Tone

Skin tone generally falls into three primary categories: warm, cool, and neutral.

To find out your skin tone, you can try these methods:

- Look at the veins on your wrist. If they appear blue or purple, you have a cool skin tone. If they appear green or olive, you have a warm skin tone. If they appear blue-green or hard to tell, you have a neutral skin tone.

- Hold a piece of white paper next to your face. If your skin looks yellowish or peachy, you have a warm skin tone. If your skin looks pinkish or bluish, you have a cool skin tone. If your skin looks grayish or balanced, you have a neutral skin tone.

- Try on some jewelry. If you look better in gold, you have a warm skin tone. If you look better in silver, you have a cool skin tone. If you look good in both, you have a neutral skin tone.

- Warm skin tones look best in warm wig colors, such as honey blonde, copper, caramel, chocolate, or chestnut. They should avoid cool wig colors, such as platinum, ash, or jet black, as they can make them look pale or sallow.

- Cool skin tones look best in cool wig colors, such as champagne, strawberry, ice, or silver. They should avoid warm wig colors, such as golden, auburn, or orange, as they can make them look flushed or ruddy.

- Neutral skin tones can pull off both warm and cool wig colors, depending on their preference and mood. They can experiment with different shades and tones, such as honey, platinum, burgundy, or ebony.

Of course, these are not hard and fast rules. You can always break the rules and try something different, as long as you feel comfortable and confident in your wig color. The most important thing is to choose a wig color that suits your personality and style.

Don’t forget about your eyes.

If your eyes are golden brown, green, hazel, or light blue, choose a wig with dark or golden browns, chestnut, auburn, or red highlights. If your eye color is dark brown, deep blue/blue-gray, or dark hazel, choose a wig with more natural colors, such as black, brown, and blonde tones.
